Personnel Training and Qualifications
Sigma Security Services, Inc. adopts the precept of 'brains not brawn' as a basis for security personnel selection. Sigma Security personnel are counted among the best of the best in the country, experts in the fields of security and protection. These highly-skilled professionals have actual field experience in criminal investigation, intelligence, Personnel protection, defensive driving and urban warfare. Security supervisors are equipped with leadership experience, technical proficiency and the ability to interface with the clients. They have developed an 'esprit de corps' with their respective commands and serve their clients with pride. Guardsmen and protection officers are service oriented and highly trained in positive values formation, customer relations, first aid, disaster preparedness and special warfare and tactics.
Training
Together with the Sigma Institute for Security and Protection Training, Inc. (SISPTI), we administer programs that provide efficient and effective solutions for today's security requirements. Incorporated in our programs are topics, which emphasize value formation, customer relations, courtesy and discipline. We train our personnel to be proactive and reactive in performing their duties and responsibilities, resulting to an efficient and responsive security service.
The Program of Instructions (POI) inculcated in every Sigma security personnel focus on the following:

Sigma Security Personnel Qualifications:
• 21 to 35 years old
• College level / graduate
• Must be of good moral character
• 5'3" in height (female) ; 5'7" (male)
• Physically and mentally fit
• Computer literate
• No derogatory record
• Must pass a Neuro-Psychiatric and Drug Test
Training
Sigma Security Services trains its guards for the last two decades to provide security and protection to person and property from any harm, loss or destruction. In addition to the basic training on safety, security and general services, the management has tapped the services of security professionals to conceptualize and institute a state of the art training program with updated techniques on anti-terrorism, close quarter combat, firearm proficiency and marksmanship, defensive driving. Supplementing the armed combat training, Sigma Corps are trained on SAFTA techniques currently being used by the US Navy Seal Teams for unarmed to handto-hand combat.
Mental-attitude
All Sigma guardsmen and protection officers are required to undergo periodic Aptitude and Personality tests to determine the mental stability and reliability of the individual personnel. Belligerence and aggression are traits that are discouraged in a Sigma guard-they should be assertive if necessary exercise good judgment, responsible and able to remain calm under conditions of stress or danger.
Physical Condition
Excellent physical condition is essential to a guardsman or protection officer. This is the reason why sigma Security Services requires all its personnel to undergo an annual physical examination where all personnel must hurdle the company's physical circuit test given every time they renew their private security professional license.
Qualifications
Sigma Security Services deploys only those who meet the minimum height requirement of five feet and six inches, have a valid security license with at least two years in college or had at least three years of active military or police service.
